Inspired by the OT thread about Condi.


My vote goes to Henry Kissinger. I know a lot of people don't like him, but I think he was awesome at his job, both as Sec. of State and National Security Advisor. Few SoS can claim a record like his.

John Quincy Adams. James G. Blaine was very good, too.

William H. Seward, John Hay, George C. Marshall, and John Foster Dulles.

That's right. Marshall was better than Blaine.
