Wondering if someone could help me out with the MapFinder. I've installed it as it says but everytime I try to start it I get the attached error. Anyone got any ideas what's causing this.

Delete the My Documents\My Games\Civ4_Map_Finder folder. 2. Install a fresh copy of Mapfinder 1.4. (http://hof.civfanatics.net/civ4/mod.php?show=mapfinder) Run once to set the correct paths (It will do this automatically). Then close it. Run Civ 4. 3. Make sure you have the Mapfinder option checked in the options menu of the game. Hope that helps you to run it. Don't forget to set the rules you want from MF by using File|Rule Builder before you run Civ 4. Drool Feb 22, 2007, 02:50 AM Tried that just now. Still gies me the same error as soon as I double click 'Civ4 Map Finder'. DeafDolphin Feb 22, 2007, 02:53 AM Tried that just now. If not, then you need to install it from Windows Update or at: here (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=10CC340B-F857-4A14-83F5-25634C3BF043&displaylang=en). Drool Feb 22, 2007, 03:42 AM Haha Dolphin I just came back in here to tell people not to worry because I figured it out. Your right, I hadn't installed the NET framework. DeafDolphin Feb 22, 2007, 03:43 AM Glad you got it fixed, dude. :goodjob: |
