This is the current front-line fighter for the Israeli Air Force: The US-built F-16A, upgraded with AMRAAM's, Mavericks and Python-4's...

Enjoy!

Great quality Topgun, have you ever thought of going into the flight sim community and making larger versions of these aircraft compatible for the Flight Sim?

You got it backwards. Flightsim is where I (and by extension Topgun) get models from.

Hmmm, who would've guessed :p

Well, you two surely have the skills to make your own aircraft (Like La Dav) and put them on Flight Sim scale and release for them?

(Speaking for myself)
No. We don't have that skill nor the time. Take a look at Simviation or Flightsim.com. There are already hundreds of models out there made by talented artists. Plus it also takes a completely different program to create purely for Flightsim, and that costs $$$$. We(me) would rather focus on Civ. This particular model I bought from Meshfactory. I gave it to Topgun so he could redo the textures for an Isreali jet. That's it. End of story. To say that we(me) create 100% of our own models is giving us too much credit. WAYYY too much credit.

No, you can easily use GMAX to make flight sim aircraft, another good aircraft/scenery/etc download place for Flight Sim is avsim.com...

Tried that. But I think you missed the MAJOR point of what I wrote. Plenty of other poeple are doing it. We wont. I don't even own Flightsim. Enough threadjacking.

It was more of a question towards Topgun, but you answered it.

(Moving along, I will not reply again in this topic)

Btw, now that TopGun has made this, I have plans to make the F-16I Soufa ground attack fighter.

Yup!
The only original TopGun models in this unit are the Python-4 AAM's.
(FYI for those who don't regularly visit TopGun Aircraft Works (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=121028)...)

Missiles are pretty much what my modeling skills in TrueSpace and Bryce allow me to do. ;)

So yeah, to give me credit for the model would be flattering but utterly wrong and undeserved.

I feel I need to make 2 minor suggestions:
Missiles: Make them move faster. Frame zero to the last frame have it move out of the camera frame just strait ahead. Add Keyframe. Move back 1 frame, add keyframe. Move back to the end of the timeline and set the missile size to 0,0,0 so it dissapears.
Pallete: I think you need a little more practice selecting the colors. The plane looks a little dirty and the fire/smoke looks like you used too few colors so it's almost CGA, not VGA quality.

Noted! I can always count on you for solid, constructive feedback.

Will incorporate your suggestions in my next unit (which will most likely be the K'fir)...
