Has anyone accomplished this yet? I can usually do the first 2 goals with no problem if China is already collapsed, but I have trouble with the control 12% by 1500 AD.

What makes this even harder now, is in more recent versions civs like India, China, Arabia, and Persia all have engineering and civil service by the time Mongols spawn, if they are still around.

I think Mongols need more starting units and tech to make up for all the other civs being more advanced at this time. Anyone else agree?

In an old version I managed it, but I found the trick was to build some cities spread far apart in siberia and get some culture out of them...
