Knowing that Oil or Uranium is needed for battleshhips, cruisers and transports, I am surprised when I cannot build them when I have researched the correct techs and have 2 sources of uranium.

When I try to build one, the units are greyed out and I am told I need oil or uranium.

Any help?

I thought ya just needed oil, could be wrong though

You need Uranium or Oil, but you still needs Combustion ( IIRC )

In Warlords you need fission, not just a source of uranium as well. Uranium is revealed before fusion...first time I played Warlords in an ironman ladder game I had this issue. I had combustion, no oil, but linked up my uranium and went mental as I couldn't build destroyers to kill those ships harrassing me. Had to get to fission first...arrgh.
