I'm playing Civ IV in OS X, and having fun. However, I am bowled over by the apparent lack of cheats posted online for the Mac version. Please someone, tell me how to activate the PC cheats in the Mac version so I can enjoy the cheats that are so much fun in Civilization? Thanks in advance.

As far as I know any cheats you find for the Windows version should work on a Mac as well. If they involve editing the CivilizationIV.ini file then you can find that in your ~/Documents/Civilization IV/ folder, or in ~/Documents/Civilization IV Warlords/ for Warlords.

And don't forget about the Worldbuilder!

In a single player game, go to the in-game menu, and click on Worldbuilder. Once there, you can give yourself any unit you like, or trick out a super-production city, or cripple your opponents :lol:

Not really my style of play, but the guys at work swear by it ;)
