It's a good start for a modpack. You'll need a good map of both Americas and I'm not sure if one is out there yet.

Working in your favor is the fact that a lot of graphics work has been done that you can use for buildings, units, and LHs.

Good luck.

Thomas Berubeg: your work on the Arda MOD is admirable! Welcome to the project. I will list the features tomorrow. Doesn't matter if you don't have Warlords, altough you could get it just because is a great expansion pack!

This is just some words on a paper still. There's a lot of work to do, so your aerea of action will be diverse. Invite someone who would be interested on the Americas, find a map, discuss the civs I put in. Your help is always welcome.

The Anasazi is an interesting civ I knew little til just momentos ago. I will research. Make a proposal, as the list I posted below. The idea, if the mod is succesful, is to add new leaders and civs, for example the Europeans civilizations, but time will have the last word.

Hi, benjamin28. You might get some use out of my New American Leaders mod, which has some United States leaders you mentioned along with full civilopedia entries and still artwork: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=207301

Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt are already implemented, with more on the way, including JFK. Lincoln even has his own unique diplo-music: The Battle Hymn of the Republic!

It's a good start for a modpack. You'll need a good map of both Americas and I'm not sure if one is out there yet.

I think there's a pretty good one for the Age of Discovery scenario that might work.

What would you like me to do if i don't have warlords? (and am probably not going to buy it...)

I could find city lists, and keep an eye out for "American" looking units or buildings out there...

incedentaly, did you see the incan temples In the DB?

good luck,
thomas

I was away for some days, but now I'll try to revitalize my project.
This will be a better introduction to my mod:

American Civilization

- 16 Civilizations, 22 Leaders
- 6 periods (Preclassical, classical, postclassical, colonial, industrial and modern), each with its unique units, buildings and wonders attached to the american culture.
- A new victory condition: religious. Expand your creed (Andean, Mesoamerican, Shamanism, Catholicism, Protestantism) throughout the continent. 75% of the population must follow it. Control the shrine and subjugate your neighbors.
- Enslavement: Early american civilizations may enslave: a little amount of probabilities in every successful combat of creating a worker unit.
- Sacrifice: kill ritually workers to add culture to your cities.
- Flowery War: Spend your gold in order to improve your cultural levels when there are not sacrifices.
