This is my second post so "Hi" to everyone.
I love this mod, but haven´t discovered all of the varieties, espaecially in the spell and magic area yet.
I have one question about Rantin, the orc hero. In the wikipedia and the civilopedia it says: "Rantine can convert any Barbarian cities that do not have a stronger unit in them." I didn´t manage to convert any cities. How does it work? There were no spells for Rantin available, so i attacked the Barb-Cities, defende by orc-Spearmen in a traditional way. worked well too, but i like the idea of convincing the brothers to join me.

If you move Rantine into the barbarian city there should be a button that you can press to convert the city to you. Note that Acheron is powerful enough that you won't be able to convert his city, but most barbarian cities before then are populated by nothing more powerful than either lizardmen or orcish spearmen.

Thank you for your answer. So you can move Rantine into the city without attacking! Now i understand what happened in my game: the peace-with-barbarians was already over because i got too strong and so i was at war with the barbs. In this case probably peaceful conversion isn´t possible any more? I discovered how the peace with barbarians system worked today. I will try again and stay weaker in the beginning.
If Rantin gets stronger with metals or maybe Orthus axe does his conversion ability rise too?

it woudl be really hard to get othuses axe without going to war with the barbs but researching military strategy and attaching a great commander to him can his strength too

The barbs took me for "too civilized" early in the game so my rantine thing disappeared, but 4 of my cities got razed... I moved rantine into killing orthus and took evryone else whith rosier... :evil: i :love: RP playing...
