floodplain=3, city tile = 2, 1 citizen eats 2, 2 + 3 - 2 = 3

I just checked in-game (started up another game, ran world builder to create floodplain city) and it seems that we'll grow in 8 turns if we work the FP.

That wins now or not that city shall be ours (as 2nd or 3rd city).

About initial build: if First Elder do not provide a warrior, sure build it; but if
she "gives" a warrior to 2nd city,then a worker looks much better.

The Chieftain will send a worker over, so we won't need one immediately. Therefor a warrior will probably be better.

I must say I'm half tempted to name your city as "Falcon's Haven" as the placeholder name :mischief:

What are your plans for the worker next turnchat? I'd like to have it hook up the horses asap. It's the best tile for my city to work, and it's an essential resource for the protection of our empire.

Once it arrives, I'd like to hook up horses, and then hook up the city to the capitol. After it should mine the gold hill and then farm the flood plains.

I'd prefer having the floodplains farmed before the gold is mined two grow faster to size three. At size three, it should work horses, floodplain and gold for +1 food. If we mine the gold first growth will be totally halted.

maybe so.. but Falcon's Heaven doesn't have the same Simcity 2000, Simcity 3000, Simcity 4, and DG1 History for me :p

Anyway doesn't sound as good to me.... probably because of the History of Falcon's Haven
