Position: Designated Player
This is the Nomination thread for the office of Designated Player.
The Designated Player is the person that actually plays the Civ4 game, based on the instructions posted in the relevant instruction thread. The number of times that you will play during a term will vary based on the frequency of sessions and the size of the pool. The order of play in the pool is based on if the citizen was in the pool last session, but did not play, the number of votes received and the order of accepting the nomination.
To nominate a citizen for xxxxx, including yourself, post the name in this thread of PM Methos (http://forums.civfanatics.com/private.php?do=newpm&u=54475). Self-nominations are considered automatically accepted unless indicated otherwise.
THIS IS NOT CONSIDERED AN OFFICE AND THUS DOES NOT COUNT AS THE ONE ACCEPTED NOMINATION. You may run for any office and run for acceptance into the Designated Player pool.
All citizens are encouraged to post questions to the nominees about their plans and qualifications for the office. Nominees are encouraged, but not required, to answer these questions.
The election poll will be posted by 2:00 pm (1900 GMT) on March 27th and will list all accepted nominations, in order of acceptance.
