Nothing in the short term. Maybe down the road.

Wasn't there a competition Kael announced for a demo movie for FFH2 to get ppl interested? A trailer basically.



'course the difficulty is actually creating video... it would be a little plain if it only contained in game shots... if only you could get animation movies without being pro!

Well, it would have to be loads of cool screenshots with loud adrenaline-pumping music and tons of cool effects, then.

The real question is : Why should be do a movie at this time ? The mod is not complete and we have a lot of graphic to work on that are more needed than an intro movie.

I completely agree with C.Roland, except for his typo (I assume that "be" should be "we").

on my version .21 install(fresh) it was trying to link to .16 folder, and i had to manually change it.

OK fixed, thanks! Windoze didn't seem to want to display a .bmp as an icon, had to change from "icon files" to "all files"

Where exactly is the icon? Mines stuck to the stupid Civ one because it didn't give me the actual FFH icon since it was a broken pathway ; ;. I want the smiling demon!!:p

haha nevermind, I found it. Doh blatently says ICON. I feel stupid xD I thing is it just showed the bmp brush I was looking for an actual peekture hehe.

Yeah maybe it shouldn't be the focus of the main team, but if random others feel they wish to, why not start it now, it'll take sometime anyway, and it doesn't need to exact mimic the units in the game at all times!

I think this could also work with fraps, get a bit of real game footage of fireballs flying, the Baron and his werewolves in action, other such pretty things. Hey I'd have no problem taking up this task if I had the SS for it >< Maybe we should make a SS / Movie thread so people can throw all their stuff on it and random people can make trailers. :cool:

I was thinking if it was possible to film in flying camera mode... Then the problem is solved...
