Sorry to post this here, but this is really the only part of the forums I am active in and I am getting desperate.

Several days ago, I became unable to access these forums from my home computer. I've tried everything I can think of, but still getting a "Server not Found" error every time. (I can reach all of the other sites I frequent with no problem.)

I am currently catching up on the Forums at work, but this is not optimum.

Does anyone have a suggestion? Please help...

there are many possiblites
-what browser are you using... and does it have plugins that will interfier?
-have you tried clearing cookies and temp internet files (to start off fresh)?
-reinstalled web browser?
-contact thunderfall?

and if all else fails you can call/email/chat with the windows tech support people (assuming your using windows)...(not necessary saying they'd be any help though lol)

Desperate times calls for desperate measures =P
So if you get really desperate you can try a system restore to a time you know you did it. But that can cause many a problems and undo things you did.

Personally I installed Service pack 2 and for some reason all my net crapped out, so I just restored it back. Windows has a way of bending your computer over and making a mess out of it. =P

Are you using google web-accelerator? Turn it off.

On your home pc, do WINKEY-R, CMD, ping civfanatics.com

Paste what you see (i.e. does it look up the ip correctly?)
