I'm sorry if the answer is obvious..

I hugely edited Europe in WorldEditor; all civs i selected are AI controlled except me, France. I cannot make any slots open, cuz even if they work, I appreciate knowing that the civ is goign to start in the right place. I have each civilization already starting with their first city, as to be historically accurate (this was largely born from a France vs Italy dispute lol).

You know how you can load a single player game in the multiplayer hosting area? Well, I know you can't enable hotseat, because your loading. Is their a code or something that can change this? Is their any code or any way I'm missing that will let someone else join as one of my selected ai civilizations, or at least Italy?

(please note I hardly know anything about the coding)

Thanks in advance

I think this may help.

Play your map in single player open up world builder in world builder do a world builder save exit out of the game go into Your Civ 4 folder then to Warlords (if your using warlods, if not ignore it) then to your saves folder then your Worldbuilder folder find the file you just saved and move it to your public maps folder (in your warlords folder, if your using). Then start the game up go to the multiplayer lobby then start scenario and click on the name of your saved game should open up and allow others to join.

this works. I have edited so hotseat lets me choose anyone via notepad. However, as many know, it crashes when I try to add/remove civs from the map. Someone suggested yame in another person's thread, but that is only for the base Civ4.

Thought I'd give that question a whirl here before devoting it to a new thread.

Hope you can help.

Maybe some python feature will help? (I haven't used python yet, or very very little)

Thanks
