This is the Domestic Leader election thread. You may want to refer to the Debate Thread (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=21437) or the Nominations Thread (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=21138).

Candidates:
donsig
eyrei

The runner-up of the election will be the deputy for the position.

Edit: Since a citizen may only hold one elected position at a time; Grey Fox was unopposed in the election for President, so he is voted to that position. Therefore, he cannot also run for this position, so he was removed from the poll.

I know this is late and probably a moot point but I feel I must disagree with the Duke's reasoning for not including Grey Fox in this election.

The constitution clearly states that a citizen can run for two positions and if he or she wins both can choose which position he or she wants. The fact that there was no one to step into the presidency does not seem to be enough grounds to exclude him from this election. Grey Fox could plausibly have ended up as president and deputy domestic leader through his inclusion in this election.

Wouldn't that be a kick? The President is the Domestic Leader's deputy and the Domestic Leader is the President's deputy. Sounds like something that would happen down here in Georgia.

Quite true. But, also true that it is a moot point. Grey Fox had 0 votes in this poll when he was removed, so it seems that everyone else thought as I did.
