Pressing CTRL+ALT+I will toggle the interface on and off, giving a completely clean map. This should make merging multiple maps much easier. :D

that would be exactly what I dont want... You cant have a map with ressources and culture at the same time. unless you photoshop. But I can produce a clean map for you if you want...unless you speaking that it leaves the culture and ressources and putting off the buttons and menus then yes thats cool!

The map itself stays, with grid, resources, food/hammers/coins, culture borders. Just the menus and other user interface stuff goes away.

of course and thats what I did since the beginning. my goal was also to try to even include the number turns to research the tech on the next save...i'm gonna be painting the kitchen so the map will maybe come later today...
