Yeah, this mod had it all going for it until JBG disappeared. We valiantly tried to keep up, but this was before Public forums so ideas were lost and without an official leader we floundered and died.

Wow! our mod made it to the PC Gamer magazine last year? I fell embarrassed since I had so many bugs and was barely playable as it was nowhere near finished.

JBG felt a need to advertise it even though the rest of us knew it wasn't done and still isn't.

yeah, but with that terrain set and graphics, it had to be mentioned. The only other mod that significantly did this, back then, was Fall from heaven.
