Redownload MOD and Redownload PATCH. And make sure you downloaded latest patch.

Возможно, это потому что русская версия - я не проверял инсталятор, сам на английской всегда играл, но он ее может неправильно узнавать. Если есть возможность, поставь английскую версию - мод все равно англоязычный так и так будет.

Если лицензия, то я на 80% уверен, что не узнает. Думаю, владельцу лицензии английскую версию скачать уже не так зазорно... :D

(сам я ее даже в глаза не видел - русскую лицензию (как, впрочем, и пиратку), так что говорить наверняка не могу). Если совсем никак - то можно без инсталятора обойтись, только тогда нужен SVN-клиент, выдрать нашу рабочую версию - она даже лучше текущего инсталлятора, она совсем нынешняя. :)

My Civ4-Warlords is a Japanese version set to English Lang, I also have the same problem as ElectricDog.I read and did it what Anaztazioch and Walter Hawkwood said but the same still happens: "Newer patch found Total Realism for Warlords Gold 2.0 (or 2.1, 0r 2.1.1) install aborted". Can anybody help me?

If you're comfortable with SVN, you can download from our Subversion repository, as it doesn't require installer. https://sourceforge.net/svn/?group_id=163217

It's not that hard, really - if you install TortoiseSVN client. But if you don't want to use SVN, I guess we can produce a version without installer, but you'll have to wait a bit.

can you find in registry, how is russian version marked?
english version:
HKCU (hkey current user) or HKLM (hkey local machine) - depend on instalation, but important key is:
\Software\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 - Warlords\
and there is subkeys
1.00.0000 (for default warlords CD version) or 2.00 for direct download
and
2.08 for patch

this keys are checked for warlords install

your message detect another key in registry (probably from localized version) - can you find which key is set in registry so i can update installer for future versions?

quick workaround how to install:
delete all keys except 2.08, install mod and then re-create all keys

You should have noticed that now your right-click menu has an "SVN Checkout" option. If you select it, you'll see a window asking what to checkout and where to. In "URL of repository field" paste http://svn.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.cgi/civ4mods/trunk/civ4.mod.realism/src/mod, in "Checkout dirctory" - the path to Warlords/mods folder. Leave all the rest settings at default values, and click OK. Beware though, that you'll be getting our current version this way - that means that you get all the most recent goodies, but maybe also all the new yet unfixed bugs this way. :D

Or else, you could wait for Peter to make a new installer that will work with your version, but this could take a week or so.

ok, i found this - you have subkey with value 2.06, which non-exist in english version
just remove this key (because instalation failed on this)
this will now affect game, because newer patch (2.08) is installed, and allow TR installed correctly
this subkey will be included for checking in next version too, thank you for report
