Chicago has a pop of 4 and will grow in 1 turn, and will take 35 turns to complete a library. This would be rushed after one turn to be most efficient.

View Full Version : Should we rush a library in Chicago? eyrei May 01, 2002, 11:31 AM Chicago has a pop of 4 and will grow in 1 turn, and will take 35 turns to complete a library. Immortal May 01, 2002, 04:59 PM How is the happiness looking in the city? any unhappy citizens? donsig May 01, 2002, 06:02 PM Join Save our Citizens now! (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=21639) Civanator May 01, 2002, 06:09 PM yes we should rush it. we can use the science boost donsig May 01, 2002, 06:19 PM Great Library research rate at 10% - could be upped if we need the science boost need I say more? Cyc May 01, 2002, 06:36 PM Again Donsig, you are so right. You are winning on all points. If these people were really into efficiency and the soundness of the idea, they would be burning citizens for temples. The population would be happier in the long run for this required improvement, not to mention libraries being cheaper to buy in a monarchy. Its a touch and go situation and I don't believe we're going to win. I'll join your citizen's group anyway. Good luck! Falcon02 May 01, 2002, 07:02 PM Maybe another option should be added to allow to vote for rushing a temple instead of a Library. donsig May 01, 2002, 07:35 PM Why don't we decide not to pop rush anything and discuss something else? Justus II May 01, 2002, 10:00 PM The reason that temples were not on the list is that they cost more, and therefore would take more than one pop. point to rush. Also, we are currently getting our tech from the Great Library, but it could expire very soon. So while we are only investing 10% in science now, we will need more in the near future, and this will enable us to have the infrastructure in place that we need to make that happen.
