Another not-exactly-military unit for the Escape From Zombie Island II scenario. As usual, many thanks to Vuldacon for touching up the animations and doing the sounds. And special thanks to Vuldacon's grandson for being the voice of the Spunky Kid!

(This animation plays too slowly - somehow I couldn't get it fast enough for this unit. It's better in-game.)

Get him here (http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=4538).

That's cool :) - and the sounds are cool too (except not maybe of the highest quality - a bit rough around the edges - but that propably won't matter in EFZI-environment :) )

The parade of strange units continue. :D

This could also fit quite well in the Playground mod. :)

Great Little Guy for the "Spunky Kid" in EFZI2 Scenario and I very much appreciate your efforts Plotinus. He turned out excellent and fits his role perfectly.
He is a Fast little Scout for the Survivors and great for gathering stray supply drops. He is set with just enough power to kill a normal Zombie even though he is not really intended as a Fighting unit exactly. It was fun making the sounds and play testing him. Since I don't have a "sound studio" with a Great Mic and acoustic situation, the sounds do have a slight "homemade" resonance but they are good in the game and work to make the little guy believable.
...Funny but he is so cute in the game that I hated to see him die when testing the sounds and animations.
Really well done Plotinus and another Great Unit for the Game. I am sure he will be used in other MODs so the sounds were kept generic to fit any situation. :band:  :old: :goodjob:

Another really great unit with a lot of character. I really like the touch of personality that your units have.

I can think of another uses for this unit-a vengeful Palestinian youth defying the Zionist's military.:mischief:

To come to think of it,there should be a mod creation called..."Escape from WestBank and Gaza."

In spite of my preferences mainly for military units, I really like this unit.

:goodjob: thank you Plot. It's a great job on a quite unconventional unit. The little guy will make great zombie bait.

Nice! Much better fitting than the old spunky kid unit. (was it like a frankenstein? Because it looked like it in the civpedia)

The parade of strange units continue. :D

This could also fit quite well in the Playground mod. :)

;) Very true.

By the way, what were the body proportion settings for the paperdoll figure to make it appear more childlike?

This is really nice. I like how he moves like a real kid, it's quite amusing! As for the comment on the speed, it's running pretty fast for me, but I'm using FireFox.

the old spunky kid was a hobbit...this one is awesome...

Its good to see a scenario like EFZI getting a complete facelift...improving all these units will make it ALOT more fun

Thanks for the comments, everyone. Glad you like it.

he is so cute in the game that I hated to see him die when testing the sounds and animations.

Of course I don't like small children so I thoroughly enjoyed making the death animation for this one...

By the way, what were the body proportion settings for the paperdoll figure to make it appear more childlike?

I'll look them up again and let you know. It did take quite a bit of tweaking.

A rather spiffing unit. Even though I'm more of a naval unit man, I don't mind children.

A good unit for any humour mods one may delve into in the future, among other purposes.

Probably because you tried downloading, were impatient, pressed it again and got that message. The server thinks you just downloaded something, even if you didn't. Try again.
