Does anyone know how to make screens in python?

I was using a 7 column screen and want to go back to the default 5, but I have a few too many civics in a couple of the columns. Is it easy to either shrink the print a tad bit or lengthen the upper half so all of my civic choices are in the blue box?

What is a few too many civics?
You're not planning to cram all the existing ones in 3 columns I hope? (Charters and Ideologies being safely apart).

In any case, the print size should be adjustable, it is bigger in the normal game then in SotM.

No cramming, but if you have more than 5 civics per column it flows out of the blue squares at the bottom.

You mean more then 5 properties of the civic (described on the bottom half of the screen) or more then 5 civic labels themself? (like State Property, Vassalism,...)

Argh, vacation is over. Bedtime. :(

PS: I see only a little space you can extend above the standard-sized columns, so technically 6 civics/column is possible.
PS2: What if you didn't put the Ideologies in the Civic screen? Can't the properties be shown in the Religion screen?

More than 5 civic labels. Upper half. I can always remove the extra.

As I said above, the columns can only be extended a bit.
Another possibility is to decrease the length (vertical) of the description columns of course.

:hmm:

It's all up in the air, but with six religions I wanted six ideology civics, plus a default for people without a State Religion.

Well, as also said above: ideologies can't be put in the religion screen?
Or one ideology less?

I thought the whole idea was to have civic choices that can only be used if you have a state religion. It lets us differentiate Ideologies better I think.

You'll see soon. I almost have the python working.

Thanks to AlazkanAssassin I have the proper number of civics columns now so that screen looks better. The buttons need work and the civic names are too long, but the screen is perfect!
