A unit from the forthcoming Anno Domini Classic mod; originally requested by Colonel Tigh. It also (for me) celebrates 4,000 posts on the forum ;) .

Note for Steph: it includes the "walk" animation you requested for SSS units :) .

As I've said in other threads - very nice. Thanks for releasing it before Anno Domini. :) The civpedia pic is also very stylishly done, in a great pose. If the rest of the units you are putting in Anno Domini are up to this standard then it will certainly look good.

BTW - I only see 3,998?

Very nice!

But wait! What's this "walk" animation thing? Am I going to have to do a new animation for every unit I want to appear in SSS? Probably not too hard, actually...

I guess my units won't appear in SSS.....:(

Anyway nice unit Rob, will have to find a way to fit it into the next patch of Heart of Destiny somehow.

In SSS, units can walk or run (i.e. charge). If you make several animation, it's nicer.

Wow! Great civpedia pic, great modelling, great new animations. As much as I am fond of Kryten's C&P's, this will take his phalangite's place.

I agree with utahjazz7...the kneeling position is a nice touch that adds to the essence and nature of this unit, which conveys that he is very capable. I would not want to contend with him and his deadly abilities. :goodjob:

Great unit you got here! I'm sure he can be used in several mods right now, since it seems a lot of folks are working on ancient and ancient greek scenarios.

Wow. 58 downloads already. Seems that a lot of people were waiting for this. Having checked it out in game now I can say that it is a very well done unit. I commend it.

Cool, it's out.

@R8XFT: I've screenie'd up all the pics I pics I'm sending you (that I currently have, I am searching for more). I just need to crop a few little things out of the photos (I pasted them all into a word document before, these are the "things" I'm talking about).
