The guy seems a bit primitive (with the wolf head dress and all) to be Helm Hammerhand, especially when you take the movie's statue of Hammerhand into perspective:

To me, I think he should be Ulfang. Remember the Easterlings of Hithlum were far up north in Beleriand, sure to be a cold environment, and the people were quite primitive. He just seems perfect! Only problem might be the hair color. Not sure if the ancestors of the Easterlings had any blonde hair :(

If not Ulfang ... then I suppose Helm would be the second best option.

Helm, after a long winter siege to his fortress, would not look very advanced- and, everyway, that LH has a mail coat, it's not that primitive... He used a big fur coat, and became almost feral, howling and killing enemies with his bare hands...
