It's 1960 BC, normal game on noble, i feel like i'm playing well, but i'm #7 on the list for most advanced civ. What am i doing wrong if anything?
Thanks in advance

1960 BC???
Why worry if your the most advanced or not. There is still plenty of time to overcome your neighbours.
Build libraries and cottage spam.

You can always check your competitiveness by looking up your GNP position under Demographics. Pressing F9 brings up the screen I think.

i wish that screen showed you who it is who is first with those statistiks, changing the filters on the power graph to GNP works, but I'd like to see how has the biggeskt military, population, HOW civs are rated with aproval rates

Suffice it to say that you'll usually be "last" in tech that early in the game. If you play above noble, then the AI needs less beakers to research stuff than you, giving them an edge right out of the gate. Once you get some cottages up and running, you'll catch up.

in 1960 on noble, you could be in the lead (unless you're surrounded by financial leaders).
But it's certainly not a big deal.

Maybe you just don't have enough cities compared to your opponents I know that was my problem earlier.

more probably, you don't have enough workers, and you're working unimproved tiles
