Rules: Here are the forum rules. To make it more strategically difficult and make it so all of us can keep up with the story, each person is allowed to two game posts a day (not counting OOC). If more is taken, the last post is discarded. I will be counting. Second, the year is 1930 and all everyone is at the same tech level of that year. The country was in good shape, the economy-buildup going on well, with major industrial centers being located around Köln, Berlin, Linz, Warschau, Bukarest, Minsk and Kiev. This should allow him to bring an modern army "online" within no time. Even now his small army was being upgraded and extended, as more and more "patriots" joined the "Wehrmacht". With Krupp-Stahl being one of the best in the entire world, and Steyr producing their feared rifles the Führer was very confident. Even tough his airforce was still small he decided that for the time being most of the German's people efforts should be directed to make the "Wehrmacht" large again.

FRENCH NAVY - War in the Mediterranean is expected to involve France lining up against the combined fleets of Italy and Austria-Hungary. Building on the "Entente Cordiale" with Britain, France has mostly handed over the defence of her northern waters to the Royal Navy and concentrated her forces in the Mediterranean as the "1st Armeé Navale". By August 1914, under the command of Adm de Lapeyrère, this fleet includes most of the major warships operational in the somewhat ageing French Navy -

all six old battleships,
eleven pre-dreadnoughts,

18th November - Russian battleship "Evstafi". "Goeben" and "Breslau" encounter the Russians off Cape Sarych, Crimea. Although outnumbered, they are soon in action. "Goeben" is hit once, but in return badly damages the Russian flagship, the four-year old "Evstafi".

Hurriedly designed following the appearance fo the British tanks in 1916. Ground clearance was only 40mm and the length of track on the ground was too short for a vehicle of it's size. The result was a unstable vehicle with poor cross-country performance. 100 vehicles were ordered in December 1917, but only 20 were ever produced. Variants included the Uberlandwagen, an open-topped unarmored supply version, and the A7V/U with all around tracks. Post-war, they were used by the Polish Army**.

Austin-Putilov - Russia/England

The Austin-Putilov was a British design, though mostly produced and used in Russia. The Russians took the basic chassis (that was all that could be supplied by the over stretched Britsh production lines) and modified it considerably to cope with the harsh Russian conditions. Inprovements included later replacing the rear wheels with tracks and adding additional armor and rear steering. Both in terms of numbers and performance, the Austin-Putilov was the most important armored car the Russians possessed during WW1. Many saw action in the internal fighting surrounding the October revolution and afterwards in the Russian Civil War. After 1918 some saw service in the Polish and Japanese armies. This vehicle proved itself to be extremely rugged.

Well, folks, the dispute between Scandinavia and America/Canadia over some coastal lands seems to have turned into outright aggression! Currently, the war is only between Canadia and Scandinavia, but we expect America to start sending their ships in too. The battle has only been fought between sea units so far, with the canadian airforce providing some air support. The battle is going fairly evenly, as the Candian forces seem to be slightly fewer in number, but they have a lot of air support. The Scandinavian forces are receiving reinforcements approximately half as fast as they lose ships, and so far none of their ships have been captured due to the fanatical defence mounted on the ship-to-ship battles. The scandinavians have been heard to invoke several different gods, the most prominent being Tyr, Thor, and Odin. So far, the casulaties stand at 13 000 men for the scandinavian fleet, 11 000 for the Canadian fleet and 3 000 for the Canadian airforce. The king of scandinavia, Olav Strakarm, is rumored to be aboard one of the warships, personally inspiring his men, which may be the reason that the scandinavians keep fighting while their ships are sinking and are not complaining about a single thing. We do not know whether this is true. One thing has been confirmed though- a scandinavian ship, the Hevnens Drage, or Revenge Dragon, appears to have sunk over five enemy ships under the command of a leader named Snorri. (great leader. First naval engagement with Royal Fleet a success!
Yesterday, in what was an excellent display of superior german tactics, elements of the "HochSeeFlotte" managed to sink an english battleship along with its escorts in the Battle of Stavanger. It seems that the enemy taskforce was headed to block this vital Scandinavian port, when they were surprised by a hunting pack. Reports are sketchy at the moment but it seems that nine ships, among them HMS Courageous and HMS Hood, were sunk at the loss of two destroyer and one submarine.
Our thoughts are with those who sacrificed themselves to make this victory possible.

A happy time on the seas is preaent for our royal Navy! Today British battle ships and cruisers attacked the Scandi navy on the south of Greenland, while making the enemy retreat to the center of the coast of greenland, while at the mean time did the same with aircraft carriers and battleships from the north. This squished the petty navy into a small, unfortified group that was begin attack from both sides, and from the air. 3 battleships, two carriers, and 20 destroyers were demolished, the rest retreated into the treturous Atlantic, where the rest of our Navy roams without worry. Canadia and American people cheered as our ships steamed past the ports, proud and happy. Our fleet will remain there for the remainder of the war.

in canadia its never been so peaceful. The economy is doing well because the many people of canadia are fixing the ships and aircrafts that were damaged. The total cost is estimsted at 5million dollars. The way Canadia plans to pay for this is cut back on some government services and to mine for more gold.
One of the programs that wasnt cut was a research program called flying thunder. Suposedly it is designing a "jet engine".
People near the testing facility are constanly complaining about the explosions. But the Admiral in charge stated its only going to take 1 year or so before we have a fully operational prototype in test flights. The ecomnomy report by the president shows a 18% increase over the last year. The president looked at the budget and realized that he has an surplus of money so he decided to up grade his army to a Medium Army and to increase his Navy to an Large Navy. Recieving heavy resistance from land installments, bomber and fighter are deployed into the air to commence the destruction of the historicle city. 11mm cannons bombard the ground defenses. In the end, the city was leveled down to the small shacks in the school yards.

The scientist have made a new weapon, the SAIGA assault shotgun that is capable of a ROF of 1000 rounds per minute. It's fully automatic and is chain-fed. The shells are specialized 12-gauge shells that shoot explosive slugs that detonate on impact and spray large amounts of shrapnel in a radius of about 3-5 feet. It weighs about 8-10 pounds and has the latest recoil control mechanism installed. 100 of these deadly weapons have been made for field testing in the special forces.

Scientists have finally created the mini- gun! It weighs a grand total of 9 pounds, better that expected! It fires off a massive 2,500 rounds of 12mm bullets. This it going to be sick as F***! Every platoon will have one my army will be complete with Babylons shot gun!

Actually, looking at the stats, I'd prefer Russia, and they're in the EURO pact.

The ruler went into the secret facility to see the new invention. He saw it, but it was not completed. It was almost complete but a week ago it led to a disaster!

The tester came to test the SAIGA assault shotgun. He pressed the trigger but something happened. It wasn't working. The tester came to look at the front of the gun when it went off. Today the presidents wife smacked the bottle of apple sider against the Tritan Class Submarine. Currently Canadia has the strongest subs in the world because the new Tritan submarines have SONAR and 24 torpedos. The president made a small speech about how he is funding for 10 new trident subs and how he is selling 10 used avenger class subs.

Also, with Moscow's factories working on overtime, the Russian air force may now be considered medium.

I am very greatful for the six submarines. I am sending submarines the ports of the scandies and I will attack all ships. I will send my ships in a week when they are ready. By the way where are your Navy they seem to have disapered.

The cold wind stung the captains face, and seemed to have hidden all of his crew. He knew they would be on call, if any Scandy ship were to be in sight. Suddenly, he noticed the water moving in a different current then the waves, like a serpant of death on the prowl. He knew it wasn't any other then a Scandy sub.

"All to port! Scandy sub on the loose!" Suddenly the deck was full of men racing to thier position. The ship started rocking from small cannons being fired, it had the new Rapid Fire cannons the British Navy had installed on all the battleships, but this was only a destroyer. The swirl of waves finally sieced, after ten minutes of straight firring. Finally the ship went to blue alert, and the captain sat down. He was happy that the BBC would definetly recognize his ship taking on a sub one on one. Suddenly, the captain worst fears became reality,his ship rocked feiriecly and teh cloud of red death blasted from the bottom of his ship to the top. the ship was now two, and he fell to his knees, sorry for failing his nation.

The destoyer Thomas has reported 3 submarine kills in 1 month. That is the highest ever and a record. The captain said it was only plausible because of SONAR. The captain also said that it is a great advantage that the Canadian Navy is the only navy with this technology. He also said it is great that we are the only country with RADAR. Because of that there hasnt been a single bit of damage to any ships by air planes and submarines. The only damage that was stustained was by a Scandinavian Battleship and its 16mm gun that almost sunk the crusier William and it killed 30 sailers and wounded 45 others. Otherwise there is no other damage stustained.
