Currently the HoF Site is having technical problems. We are looking into it.

I thought I killed it when I tried uploading my save file (roughly 11:30 PM Eastern), which I didn't even win :/. I wasn't sure if I could upload files in which I didn't win, but I figured I'd try. Given that it was Warlord difficulty, AND that I lost (I used to be prince-level, but I haven't played in such a long time), the server was probably like, "NOOB ALERT! SERVER SHUT DOWN!" I'm kidding, of course, but it did shut down just as I was uploading the file (I hit submit and then it never loaded telling me the submission was successful), so it seemed pretty coincidental.

I wasn't sure if I could upload files in which I didn't win, but I figured I'd try.

We don't accept lost or incomplete games and will reject them if we see them. :(

Ah, no problem - thank you for letting me know! I was actually trying Minor 17 with Hannibal, and I did really pretty well for that being my first game in some one and a half or two years. Problem was, I found out afterwards that I accidently had the speed on epic instead of normal... oops. So I tried Minor 17 again, and that's when I lost, albeit barely, to Asoka in the space race. I'm currently on my third game of Minor 17... hopefully I'll be competent enough to win this one or at least have the settings correct :/.

As stated by Thunderfall in this announcement (http://forums.civfanatics.com/announcement.php?f=166&a=459) there is a possibility that we have to do a backup of the system. Just to be sure, I'd suggest all games that have been submitted in the past couple of days not be deleted from your computer, just in case. They may not be needed, but why take the chance.

It just pretends to load for about 10 minutes before finally giving up and saying that there was a problem loading the page. Every other HoF page seems to work OK, though.

I just checked it with SGOTM4 submission and it worked fine.

I've had this happen a couple of times but have found that my game actually did upload, so you should check your submissions before trying again (in future) to check whether it was sucessful or not.

Well, it did eventually upload, but it turned out that it was not a valid HoF acceptable game so I'm going to have to have another go at it anyway.
