I've been looking without success for a modern times scenario.:cry: So i'm appealing to you to make a modern times scenario.:eek:

You could make one. You already have the Earth 1000 AD scenario done, why not Earth 2000 AD?

I tried to make one once, but then I couldn't start the scenario anymore, the game would hang up.. that's when i quit scenario creation. :(

I'm working on one right now. Well, as a matter of fact it takes place in the year of 2065, not 2007. But actually this is only to make it more accurate and still detailed. So this will be kind of a todays world scenario, not a sci-fi one.

I have an idea for making a Modern Day Mod that would change the civs to modern ones, make the leaders modern ones, and change the UUs to suit the civs.

I.e. Russia is still Russia, but the leader becomes Putin, and you change his traits accordingly.

USA gets Bush, bring in Australia as a civ, give them John Howard, bring in Venezuela, give them Hugo Chavez. China gets Hu Jintao. England gets Tony Blair. France gets Segolene Royal or Nicolas Sarkozy. You get the ideas.
