Hi! I looked around for a long time trying to figure out how to combine mod components, but I just couldn't figure it out. I downloaded some utilities, but couldn't get them to work.

I have very little knowledge of this sort of thing (of course, I'm willing to learn or try), so I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to combine some of -specifically- TheLopez's mods, as I love a lot of them! I have 6 or 7 I'd really like to use.

Any help with this would make me very happy indeed! Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the link. : )

Now, will that help me incorporate the mods I want to use? Like, say I have new versions of some in there, or ones that aren't listed; can I still add them too?

(Sorry for the long response time, I've been on a canoe trip and totally forgot about this thread -.-)

I would also really like a coherant tutorial on combining mod components. I know how to cut and paste XML passages, but I've also seen a couple of supposed programs that help with that. I'd like an experienced modder to explain how they do it, whether they advise a program or by hand. I'd also like to know how to merge SDK components. Do you actually need to know the language to do that? Is it just cut-and-paste largely like XML? Is it simply a matter of putting all the components into a single folder? As I said, a guide for this whole thing would be very nice.

Yes, does someone have a good link? I'd like to combine Dale's ranged bombardment mod with a couple of Lopez's mods, and the link above only allows combining of Lopez mods.
