We will have a Great Prophet in 5 turns! :woohoo:
Build queue: Market (1) - Temple (3) - Aquaduct (3) - The Great Library - The Hanging Gardens
If we've finished Literature before starting on the Aquaduct, start building the Great Library. If the Great Library is finished somewhere else before or during the build of the Great Library in NotA, start building the Hanging Gardens. If both are finished somewhere else, decide for yourself what to build.

Build a lighthouse, and then a workboat, then a forge. Send the workboat to the clams. We should be making peace during the first turn, ending warunhappiness. The new citizen should work another grassland hill. When the workboat has improved the clams, work that tile. Try to keep the city happy.

I'd like the Stone near NotA to be hooked up if we're going to build the Hanging Gardens.
I'd like 2 of Lyons' grassland hills to be mined (not the forest hill). When the clams are online, build a cottage on the farmed grassland.
fed1943 Apr 30, 2007, 01:53 PM Very well.
Don't you want to add something just in case of religious conversion?
Best regards,

Best regards,
I'm still hoping that we'll stay pagans, but the poll is looking different :(
I'm not sure what I should change though.
dutchfire May 06, 2007, 11:29 AM Finish the settler, then start on axemen until the French threat is over, then another settler.
Updated orders
dutchfire May 12, 2007, 11:02 AM Proposed orders:
Build military units for five turns, then start on a settler.
I propose Keshik, Axeman, Catapult, Catapult, Axeman, but I will talk to the Warlord for this.
Citizens:

After 5 turns, work the plains hills too. (I'm assuming that we will hook up silver again within 5 turns).

Bertie May 19, 2007, 04:58 PM Might I suggest we build some cottages around NotA? We need the commerce. Also, I suggest we build some Macemen. Rome and its Praetorians are a threat, and we should be prepared in case they decide they'd like to take over some of our territory.

True, Praetorians are one of the most powerful early UUs in the game. However, in my experience (to be taken with a pinch of salt), he only picks on you if you are weak. But hey, we aren't. (see here (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=5462863&postcount=26)).
But some crossbows and macemen wouldn't be a bad idea after we have improved our economy. Unit cost and supply is really killing us right now.

Work all farms and mines, and after 3 turns a grassland forest too.
Build some macemen (depending on war situation, stop when Paris falls), a monastry and a courthouse.
Lyons
Lighthouse->Temple(if no happiness problems courthouse)
Orleans
Courthouse
Great Prophet -> Equus Aurum
