This is in the beginning, but you can see that it is a rotonda. It is modelled after a senate house in Constantinople:

I think you could do with some texture on the domed roof - at the moment it looks like a giant well or hole in the ground. Apart from that - very nice. :goodjob:

The dome probably was just black though.

There's a difference between looking like a black hole and a black roof. The picture you've just put up has more of a dark grey roof, and has a tiled look, whereas the preview in post one (unless you look very closely) is pitch black. Maybe it is a combination of the angle it is viewed at and the lighting effects?

Roof aside (I'll remain mum on that) very nice indeed :goodjob: Weren't Roman baslicas used as halls of justice?
