hi all, i'm new to the forum -- thought i'd post my question here.

i can't figure out how to turn off the feature that's causing the computer to reassign my city specialists every so often. i'm trying to grow some artist GP's, but everytime i check on my city, the computer has switched it to scientists. very annoying. there must be a way to turn this off.

Computer change specialist only is more appropriate for your civilization and not for other.
Try to search in game option maybe you find solution...

the best you can manage is to turn on all 3 emphasis buttons, then force them. it'll only reassign citizens if something affects health or happiness, population changes or tiles become unworkable or their yields change.

thanks for the suggestions. that's a major oversight if the only thing you can do is emphasize everything and then hope happiness/production/city size/anything ever changes. that stuff can change pretty much every turn.
