I think gbno1fan has made important decisions (like what to research or when to start wonders or where to build the Forbidden Palace) as they have come up. To be sure, he has certainly not given orders every turn. I think I have a general idea of his goals, and he has given me as Sultan significant leeway how to execute them.

I am not unhappy with his level of participation, but if the people want a more "hands-on" Bean Counter, that is certainly understandable. There is nothing like a good old-fashioned contested election in any case...

I'll accept my nomination (and then vote for gbno1fan) just so we can have a real election for this position.
