There are dozens of good ones.
There are a handful of really talented ones, fewer still that are both talented and prolific.
But there is no one else like you. Quality of just an impressive level and a mind boggling level of production.
If I quit my job, got divorced, gave up on my kids and other hobbies and dedicated myself to unit creation I still don't think I could do but a fraction of what you have.
I was looking at the list and I was thinking what a colossal chore it must have been to add all those units to the SOE mod. When it struck me again. One guy made all those.

There was a time I gave some thought to if this was not the case. (seriously). I was going through a cool, but now defunct site and noticed that Wyrmshadow posted a ton of units there and that his pace didn't build gradually it exploded. I since then came to know him a little and came to realize he is just that driven to create.

I hate to download a great unit without thanking the creator for all of the effort put into it. I can't imagine how much time that was put into all of this. I guess Poser doesn't have a Civ-style timer but maybe it should.

Wyrmshadow does not use Poser, he uses Bryce.
Poser is better (easier) than Bryce with humans, monsters, etc. Bryce is better than poser for hard surface units (such as the 1000 units Wyrmshadow has released).
Poser and Bryce are the most popular (due to price and ease of use), but these are not the only tools one can use. Others use 3d studio max, maya, blender, c4d, povray, openfx, and so on.

Oh that's interesting. I don't know anything about animators. I don't have any real talent like that. I guess Bryce must be the fun one then. Does Wyrmshadow use Bryce for his people (and horses) too? I've seen a few of those already and they look very good too. But I do remember him saying that people were hard to do. Is that because of the program or just a personal preference for mechanical things?

Your kids are adorable by the way.

Bryce is easy because the interface is very intuitive, look it up in Wiki, it's almost like a video game. I have been using it since 1997. Biological units are very diffiult to do because of the complexity of movements I have to animate. Bryce does not have any built-in help to do complex animation like walking etc... Poser does.

I've tried a few of these out in-game, just to see how they looked. For the most part everything is looking great. But I did notice that there are some, I think palette issues with a couple of the white planes. It is quite pronounced, along the whole body of the plane. One of them was the Pulqui II and the other one I've seen was the Saab 29.

Everything else looks relly nice but I thought you'd like to know about that issue.

@Steph: The upcoming Argentinian fighters make very good generic WW2 fighter planes. The other possibility is to use older US or English aircraft like the Hurricane 1 or the P-40 - those were widely sold after the end of ww2.

Of course, but perhaps they'd look better with a desert camo than a green one.

1. No.. still waiting for a part to come in. It was supposed to be today. I had just come home last night after being out with friends so I was in a good mood. And 3 prop planes don't take long at all.

Realy like the new mosquitos, especialy the ROC air force mosquito. Not enough out there for china, korea, or southeast asia in my opinion. I'll be home in a couple of days and can't wait to take a better look at them. Thanks.

Yes and no.

The Polish 2. Corps managed to spearhead the break through into the Gustav line and to cunningly conquer mount 593, thus endangering the German position around Monte Cassino. They also indeed reached the top of Monte Cassino as first Allied contingent, but the Germans had already given up this position the two days before and left behind about a hundred wounded defenders unable to retreat, along with what little was left of the amunition.

Those held on another day and then gave word (and white flag) of their surrender to the Polish troops. Nonetheless the Polish Corps fought most valiantly and with utmost honour against all odds and with high amount of casualties. Splendid soldiers, IMO!
