Please keep discussion to a minimum. Previous attempts to avoid discussion have been entirely unsuccessful, so might as well expect the inevitable.
Hyronymus May 23, 2007, 06:17 AM Come on, Officers! Post your instructions!
DaveShack May 24, 2007, 02:43 AM If this poll (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=222986) results in a win for "yes" then make peace with France accordingly. (currently the "no" option is winning, but that could change)
Stop if we're about to capture Paris, or if anyone else declares war on us.
The DP is free to make trades which are within 100g of being equal, except that Alphabet may not be traded away while we still hold a monopoly on it.
Refuse any demands from anyone which involve giving a tech or more than 1/2 our current treasury. Refuse demands to stop trading with another civ.
Move the two settlers and their escorts back within our borders.
If a Great Prophet is produced, send it to our holy city (EA?) and found the shrine.
Workers are delegated to elder/governor/whatever we call them now control. Allocation of workers to cities is delegated to the DP.
fed1943 May 24, 2007, 05:21 AM NotA builds: complete market; build temple; satisfy Warlord's request, if any;
build monastery; build worker; build aqueduct.
New pop go to the mined plains/hills.
Lyons: change pop from unimproved grass (3-2) to farmed plains (9); go on
with lighthouse; when done, granary; when the grass/hills (6-6) gets mined,
change pop from grass/forest/hills (3) to there.
Workers: it looks just #4 worker under our control; move it 3 and mine, then
road, the grass/hills; then move it 3,road; then road tiles between NotA,
Lyons and Riversight, as you see fit.
New worker from NotA: first quarries the stone, then as you see fit.
grant2004 May 24, 2007, 08:42 AM Governor of Riversight and City #2
Riversight: Continue with the current labor distribution, when growth occurs put the new laborer on the plains forest. After the forge is produced switch this laborer to a grassland forest.
Finish the temple, then begin a forge, and after that a market
If a worker is available for this city build a mine on the hill south of the city
City #2
Continue with the current labor distribution, if a cottage is built, make sure that somebody is working it.
Finish the Granary and then begin a library
Should we discover calendar the two workers around the city should begin building a plantation on the bananas immediately. Otherwise finish the windmill and begin work on cottages west of the river.
Joe Harker May 24, 2007, 11:21 AM Chieftain, are we trading with rome for calender?
If not research calender followed by polytheism and then literature
Falcon02 May 24, 2007, 08:56 PM Continue to press the war against Napoleon.
Do not raze any cities.

Keshik in main stack with promotion - Combat I

Chieftess May 25, 2007, 04:50 PM Looks like a nice turnchat. I have a great feeling about this game. :goodjob: (now I'm wanting the entire continent! ) (though, I would've preferred melee promotions for the axes -- Paris has a few in there).
DaveShack May 25, 2007, 05:16 PM Hmm, I was maybe a little unclear on stop orders. The idea was to continue until Paris was about to fall, then stop so we could decide whether to keep or raze. But no harm done, so no worries. :)
