More likely they are still trying to figure out how to add the 250 air units.
These are of the highest quality. They will get a lot of downloads. Just give it a little time.

Even more likely, we are limited by the 30 seconds between two downloads, so we can't work as fast as we'd like :mad:

I like to look up a little info on the units as I'm downloading them (mostly Wikipedia). I like the background and it helps me think about how to use them in-game. So I'm only about a third of the way through the planes so far but I plan on getting these next. I am really looking forward to using these. I thought that your Victorian-era ships were wonderful. I'd have said so there but I don't want to be the stupid noob bumping an old post. But thanks for those and thanks for these.

A postulated follow on to the Littorios, with 12 x 15", perhaps based on some fictional designs. The actual follow on was more along the lines of 9 x 16"...an evolution of the UP-41. Details in Warships 2006, IIRC.

Yes. The last to be worked on was Kentucky, which was preserved for a while whilst there were various proposals for a missile ship conversion. Like the similar plans for Hawaii, nothing came from them. The hull was scrapped in 1958.

And the sad fact is the Montanas were FULLY funded, but were cut in favor of carrier production. Sadly, a wise decision, but the Montanas were so damned beautiful and had a throw weight GREATER than the Yamato. :D

No offense guys, but were they finished? No, they were not. Nor could they have been in a wartime Germany. They are as much a fantasy ship as the Montana's were. And the Montana's had a far greater chance of being completed than the H-39's ever could have been.

Why is that you say? Germany did NOT have the resources to complete them under wartime conditions, where as the FIVE Montana's were only scrapped because BB's were no longer the kings of the seas. Being de-throned by the Carrier.:D

Fact, even with slave labor Germany was critically short of manpower so HAD to concentrate its labor resources accordingly. The Surface fleet was not as high a priority as the Luftwaffe and Wehrmacht.

It seems a lot of the necessary points regarding the H-class have already been made. The industrial bottlenecks and necessary infrastructure involved in the construction of modern battleships is nothing to be errantly sneezed at.

If I am not mistaken the USS Midway is larger than an Essex class as it was a follow on to that ship design and designed specifically for the Tigercat to operate from even thought it never did so. It was later adapted to have angled flight decks. Also heres an interesting fact. The USS Midway set new standards of naval aviation in the latter half of the 20th century. A captured German V-2 rocket was launched off the USS Midway in 1947—the dawn of naval missile warfare.

I'm guessing it's probaly made out of several different ship parts.

I used my CasemateBB as a base, then used some parts from my Nelson and Dreadnought. Purely fictional.

Chaps, there were various SCB modifications of US carriers, both proposed and executed, in the early 1950s. The angled decks on Midway et al were one of them. Midway was never based on a CVE design, and never was an escort given an angled deck.

The time delay is for any CFC d/l. I presume it's a sensible way of managing bandwidth traffic.

one from the Baltimore class.

Because modifying the Baltimore hull was far far far more effective and easier than doing that do the Omaha hull. The Omaha hull was very stepped, broken up and uneven.

A little something I had lost on my Hard Drive and found: A tweak to Wyrmshadows excellent Auxiliary Cruiser unit, this version represents the very same unit, yet unarmed, i.e. as a civilian ship.

So here it is: A random Freighter to complement Wyrmshadow's original.

hard to say... im not so far from completing the fidget, win and run since those will feature similar animation sequences (plus the default which has been there for a while now). The problem with this particular unit has been my morale- and the many mistakes I made in my first attempts.

After several restarts (of the very same things :( ) and with all of those issues dealt with, attack anim. will follow suit as soon as i can showel up some free time (and in my case that means 'uninterrupted' by real life). So that will probably not be the case before next week same time since Im getting a visitor today who will stay at my place for 5 days.

What will still be a problem is the death animation... I basicaly got nothing for that yet... to speed up release (I know, its been ages since i announced this :( mea culpa, mea grandissima culpa) I might make up something simple without a 'sinking' (i.e. just some shell hitting it).

With a bit of luck it could be out in 10-14 days... just before my mom might come flying in. Small window of oportunity but I hope I will be able to get my act together this time... :)
