Poll Question: Should EMA use static or animated leaderheads?

Please take into consideration the large amount of space animated leaderheads take up (currently about 3/4 of the 50mb download).

Discuss.

I always vote static. Until the modding community can create animated that aren't as cartoonish as the ones Firaxis made then finding artwork or old photos/paintings works the best IMO. Especially in a mod like this one.

For mod that aims to better historical realism i think static LH are better.

At least, until there are really good 3d replacements made.

FfH has good static LH. If you cant find one for an obscure leader, lust find another LH from the same civ or a picture of someones face from that culture. For the most part i dont think people will notice.

Would any of the other mod members care to give their opinions on this? I want to make sure that we're all in consensus before I make a major change like this.

Personally, I prefer animated - but they're hard to come by.

I abstained... not really that important to me, so long as we're consistant.

It would be very difficult to find a good static picture for each civ, so I abstained, but I'll look for good pictures to see if it is feasible. I think there should at least be statics for the Civs in the main campaign.

I prefer static because it saves space and on my comp it slows down when the diplo screen is pulled up with an animated leader. However good consistent static leaderheads are rare especailly with older and especially esoteric people. If I find any good pics I'll let you guys know.
