I want to put more fans inside the tower but I don't know if I can. I only seem to have one of those thingies in the motherboard that the CPU fan is pluged in. Is it possible to install more fans if I have only one of those thingies? How can I know if I have more but don't know where to look for them?

I have 6 fans in my case, aside from the CPU fan.
I believe they all have Molex pass-thru connecters.
I added a fan controller just so that I can control the speed of them.

Though I've never bothered buying any. I've just soldered my fan wires to old molex extenders.

You can also buy fans that have molex fittings ready, so no need to install adapters.

And some fans come with the adapters.

You didn't tell how many you need.

Lonkut,

I might add that the extra case fans I bought came with their own three speed switches. I just bought the fan controller so I could adjust their speeds without opening my case and to have more like an infinite (variable) controll. I think they came with their own molex connecters. Not remembering this %100. Maybe the fans had molex connecters and the fan controller had the pass thrus.

One thing to note though. When I added all the fans to my rig I increased the amount of maintenance that I have to do. I have to open this thing up every few weeks and blow it out. Its like an air purifier on steroids!

Mine are just the Antecs found at CompUSA. I see fans on the internet for as low as $2.00 but then they will charge like $5.00 for shipping.

Shop for silent fans. I doubt you want your computer to sound like a jet engine.
