How about pikemen instead of the knights? We're in a peaceful stage that will hopefully extend quite a while. Defensive troops are cheaper to build and are upgradeable forever.

Also, Phoenatica has slipped to second in literacy. More universities will help us reclaim our status as the enlighted society of the world.

Maybe switch the queues on two of the knight builders. Make one a university and the other pikes?

What the heck is in my coffee?

After analyzing most of our cities, I have tried to identify those that would most benefit from a university. Currently, only 4 cities would generate at least 3 more science (at 40% science rate), making them more valuable than the 2 gold maintenance. Those 4 cities are Fox Nest, PDX, Pherris, and New Falcon.

Since two of these are in your province, I thought I would point it out here, and recommend that if possible they be moved up in the queue. I see that they are already in the queues, but I would recommend they be moved up if possible. In the case of Pherris, it would generate 4 additional science per turn. Of course, the bank will generate additional gold per turn but the University generates culture as well, and is relatively cheaper for us as a scientific civ. New Falcon actually also needs a temple, but would generate 3 more science per turn with a University.

Please take this under consideration.

Nice idea Justus. so now I have changed Pherris to build University before it builds bank and New falcons that it also build university first then harbor and temple. I like culture and science just like you:)

Would you take a look at the cities in your province, and see how many could start WLTK days with one worker as an entertainer? Especially if that worker is not working a very productive square. Test this with the current 10% luxury rate and with a 0% luxury rate.

You might want to tweak them then, especially if they cannot grow without an aqueduct, or if they can grow with the entertainer. The reduction in corruption and waste should make up for the loss of one worker.

Here are the new building queues hope that it will be accepted by the military and not changed, and I have changed PDX production from knights to bank and let PDX build the bank to the finish. Any wonder construction overrides the building queues.

PDX is the site of a future wonder - perhaps it should start making it now? The domestic dept. authorizes PDX to switch to palace now as a wonder pre-build.

I think NFH should be switched to Harbor, to get it to grow, since it's only getting 1 Food from the coast. and with the harbor it will get 2 and grow.
