There is something wrong with the Submit Game function on the HOF Website. Please hold off submitting until we can figure out what's wrong.

The ftp server is down at the moment. I *would* disable the submit function until that gets fixed, but since the only way I can edit the pages is via ftp... :mischief:

I've decided to try to fill the Monarch level, huge map time victory slot on the HOF. I figure I have about 75 hours play time left, so I might be able to test in say.... 2 months? ;)

I have been having problems submitting. I select my 2 files then click submit and the bars at the bottom move along but nothing seems to happen. It seems to struggle to connect to the site...it keeps saying waiting for http://hof.civfanatics.net....?

I havent had any problems submitting in the last few days, Just submitted about ten mins ago actually.

Is you internet connection ok on other sites?

Yeah I have no problems on any other sites.

So far no one else is reporting problems. It appears to be just your pc. Are you on a dialup?

If you continue to have problems, e-mail your save files to hof.civfanatics@gmail.com. We'll try to upload them for you.

I seem to recall another player that intermitently had some problem like yours. We had to use the same solution. :)

Thanks. I think it is my ISP. Evertime I try and upload things (to any site), it times out. Will contact them today.
That aside, my game submitted fine this morning (weird)

It wouldn't have been a problem. The servers plus all of us staff and moderators live on Thunderfall's cruise ship.

It happens to me every other time I try and submit. It spends forever loading and then times out. Like right now, when trying to submit my G Major 12.

No, that's the motor boat we use to go to shore and buy groceries.

I'm with Woosh, but I never have any problems with anything else - just submitting game files to HoF. Sometimes if I change the "intermediate" files I choose to include, then it works, but of course I can never tell if it was going to work on that occasion anyway. It took five attempts to submit my last game.

Yeah I'm the same, only HoF seems to have problem. I am with Xtra though.

Well, the server is a shared resource. So it may be a combination of other activity on the server and your ISP's upload performance or timeout settings. I suppose file size might also weight in there somewhere, too. :crazyeye:
