Actually, IMHO Poser4 is faster AND easier than PhotoShop, those two animated Amazons I did today took less than 3 min each. Of course it took the computer about an hour to render the animation but I was watching TV while it was working.

I spend far more time creating the background image than the leader. It takes a while to tweak the base leader body the way I want it, but then its simply a matter of clicking which clothes I want.

BTW, my Jasc program is past the trial and almost to the shutdown date. Do you know of a crack I can get?
I just paid the $80 cause I was getting tired of looking at the "this is a trial version" message.

I'm currently working on an Ike animated leaderhead, my favorite president. I have the points made (happy, cautious, and mad) but I need to figure out the ratio for how many frames it takes to get to what mood, and the differance between the two flcs. Basically everything I need to know to render an animated leader. Hopefully my comrade Ghengis can help me out here. :D

He wanted her to touch his tail, and get drunk off of his vodka. Well, Runner broke the ice and me and Jessica have been together since. I wouldn't be as happy as I am today without him.

No, the only one that is animated and era specific is Ike. The rest are stills.

Is the pictuers of Mongkut from a movie? Becorse then it would not be "real" pictuers of him right.

It is a picture of Yul Brynner from the "King and I". You are right it is not a real picture of him, but it is the most recognizable image of him and I thought it would add a fun twist to the game. :D

He was also played by Chow Yun Fat in the more recent "Anna and the King". My understanding is that the "King and I" story and its off shoots greatly plays up the role of Anna and creates a false romantic relationship between Mongkut and Anna, but that is to be expected from Hollywood.

Sween, there is no Byzantine emperor anywhere. No one can can play the Byzantines with a Byzantine leaderhead. Thailand, Vietnam and African tribes have leaderheads, but the greatest European civilization of the middle ages doesn't. I usually use Julius/Augustus(?) Caesar as Alexius I, but he had a goaty :jesus:.

As you can see from Alexius, Byzantine emperors are quite distinctive.

The middle ages are badly represented in general. No Germanic warlord/king/emperors. Theodoric the Great, Leovigild, Clovis, Charlemagne, Otto the Great and Frederick Barbarossa all need representation. I'm just saying this to plant ideas in your head and draw your attention to the underrepresentation of the european middle ages

that would be awesome if you could make a Kamehameha the Great leaderhead for Hawaii. I couldn't find a very good pic of him, but I found this pic of a statue of him.

Here's a question that probably doesn't belong here, but that's not gonna stop me. I was in the process of checking out a new American Civil War mod and took a look in the library to see if there was a Jefferson Davis. As such I noticed that the old Genghis Library (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26030) is sticky even though it is no longer updated and your (sween) library (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=31304) is buried deep on page 3 and only mentioned as the new, true library, on post 18 of the old one. So, shouldn't the admins unsticky Genghis' and stickify yours? :) I figure I'll leave some sort of official request to you ;)

As for my original search, and to try and make this a valid place to post my question, I did see a leaderhead of General Robert E. Lee (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?postid=358465#post358465
), but not the actual president, Jefferson Davis. I'm in the process of pointing out Lee to the modmaker and suggesting he put in a Davis request, since he'd probably have pictures and such to give you.

pdescobar, i never finished my leaderhead library. it does not have all the leaderheads even for the time i made it. i basically gave up due to time. we need somebody who can keep up a leaderhead library, like the great work that labmonkey does for units. btw, robert e. lee was made from a request.

Hmm. didn't realize your library wasn't up-to-date either. I assumed it was since it was newer but I suppose it it was current, it wouldn't be on page 3 :) I'd like to offer to help, but I don't think I could commit to a full-time upkeep...

As for Lee being a request, I realize that. I didn't explicitly request Davis because (a) the civil war mod isn't mine, just one that I thought looked interesting and (b) I don't have a picture for him :)

I am looking for female leader heads to replace the male ones... Now I realize that Catherine of Russia (Which begs the question why did they use such an old frumpy picture, when she was younger she sexually alive and vibrant.) Spain and England don't need to be replaced. But I need help finding female leader heads for the other civilization. Suggestions would be great. I am modifying DYP to suit my own needs..... Joan of Arc Doesn't need to be replaced either....

I believe theres a 47 page maximum. Plenty of stuff disapears. Go to the Database and click on Tech Icons. The tech Icons only date back to November.
