View Full Version : Unit Preveiw: Gungan Rider Dragon Warrior May 15, 2002, 03:54 PM This is my first unit, it still needs a lot of work and is going to take me awhile i have attack for 1 direction... Ed O'War May 15, 2002, 10:10 PM The head of the animal he's riding looks too much like a horse...I presume you based it off of the rider or another mounted unit? Otherwise, looks good. akinkhoo May 17, 2002, 09:31 AM the gungan animal is like an amphibious 2 legged lizard. here are some suggestion : the head should look front, (to counter balance itself) the head should be more streamline (amphibious looking) the tail should be longer (it should look a bit more curved) the leg should be more bend (this allows it to move quickly) :goodjob: Dragon Warrior May 17, 2002, 03:05 PM Originally posted by akinkhoo the gungan animal is like an amphibious 2 legged lizard. here are some suggestion : the head should look front, (to counter balance itself) the head should be more streamline (amphibious looking) the tail should be longer (it should look a bit more curved) the leg should be more bend (this allows it to move quickly) :goodjob: I agree with all that except for the tail. I thought that too at first but i found some pics on the net and actually the tail is supposed to be pretty short Dragon Warrior May 17, 2002, 03:28 PM Heres the "streamlined version" (havent done anything about the legs) Dragon Warrior May 17, 2002, 08:52 PM Heres the default: Dragon Warrior May 17, 2002, 08:53 PM Whoops... Jagdpanther May 18, 2002, 12:11 AM Jesus Christ! to bloody hell with jar jar already! genocide against the gungans... Blasphemous May 18, 2002, 05:02 AM Nice :D Just a few problems: The riding beast is supposed to be of only one color, which is rather greenish-gray then brown; The beast's head is not so "horse-ish", its more squashed towards the lips; The animal isn't moving at all. It need to at least waver; Legs need to be bent and recoulored; The tail doesn't look right, why is it plit like that?; The rider isn't very clear, and he seems a tad too bright.... Sorry, I know this is just a preview, but these things really bother me... |
