Vuldacon Jun 09, 2007, 06:05 PM I posted this on CIV IV as well but trying to get the word out for this Fantastic Free Offer for all the Poser and DAZ Studio users to check out.
If you use Poser or DAZ Studio, here is the BEST Human Model you will find available at any Cost...and It IS FREE...No Strings. This Model can be used for creating Boys, Girls, Men, Women, Old Young, and many other units such as an Ogre or Monster. Mirc Jun 09, 2007, 06:19 PM Yeah I remember seeing him a while ago while browsing for free modeling stuff. :) Thanks for posting it, anyway.
Vuldacon Jun 09, 2007, 06:26 PM Mirc... It is amazing what can be done with this one Super High Quality Model and I thought IF anyone does not yet know about it, they would want to get the information.
Mirc Jun 09, 2007, 06:46 PM I know and I understand you, again, thanks for posting it, anyway. :D
NavyDawg Jun 09, 2007, 07:00 PM I can attest that this is a great figure. I'm using him to make some superhero units for KingArthur.
embryodead Jun 09, 2007, 07:26 PM Yeah I got it earlier when Plotinus posted info in the tutorials section. Basil II was my first attempt to use it over M3... I generally love the morphs, especially moods and "old" face morphs (M3 sucks in this aspect), though it is missing some other handy morphs that M3 has.

Stormrage Jun 09, 2007, 07:46 PM If someone could adapt him for unit making.. we wouldn`t have to pester poor aaglo for all humanoid monstas in teh universe :)
NavyDawg Jun 09, 2007, 11:58 PM He's good for making units as is, but suffers from the same problem M3 has. He is taller and lankier than PDM. So, to have a unit with similar limb sizes, Apollo or M3 will look too tall. Zulu made a fix for M3, but I'm not sure how he did it. Similar scales for Apollo and V3 would be nice.:)

I know he's huge, but he's supposed to be (for the superhero mod).
Vuldacon Jun 10, 2007, 12:54 AM NavyDawg... Your Super Hero looks good. What scale did you use?
Stormrage Jun 10, 2007, 09:18 AM Nice! :D
Sword_Of_Geddon Jun 10, 2007, 11:39 AM ok nevermind
zulu9812 Jun 10, 2007, 12:25 PM I actually made a tutorial for using Apollo Max for leaderheads (check out my sig)
I'll see about a scale pose for Apollo for units, although I'm thinking you might not actually need it, what with the ADS body dials.

Apollo is easy to scale, but it would probably help with the scaling for conforming clothes (same for V3;) ).
@ Vuldacon, I used the default figure and then "beefed up" his arms, legs, chest, etc...
flamescreen Jun 10, 2007, 02:14 PM Is he complete now?
Last time I checked some parts were still to be posted.
NavyDawg, for superheroes I'd have to recommend particles 2 or 3.0 as well if you can get it. I haven't really worked on it yet, but it has huge potential for such stuff(and other things I wanted to do with it).
Plotinus Jun 10, 2007, 02:49 PM Yes, Apollo Maximus is definitely complete.
I tried Particles but found it very hard to use! But maybe that's just me.
Vuldacon Jun 10, 2007, 04:27 PM zulu9812... There are many new people making animations so things that are provided that make it easier for them will help them through some of the complications ...such as your Re-Scaled M3 figure. This also speeds up the work for others as a handy, fast figure they can use that is already scaled.
Yes, Particles does take a little time to understand and be able to use as one wants but then most of the programs we use for animations do. I used it for the Crawling Brain Gas Ball Attack in a very simple way but it has some cool features for special effects.
NavyDawg... I assume you dialed up with ADS but where did you get the Super Hero Outfit? If it is on the Apollo Maximus site, I must have missed it.
NavyDawg Jun 10, 2007, 04:45 PM Oh, I got you. The body suit is just Apollo's skin recolored. I got the straps, underwear, boots, collar, and headband in a pack I bought on Renderosity.
Vuldacon Jun 10, 2007, 04:50 PM NavyDawg... Well it Looks Great :goodjob:
Sword_Of_Geddon Jun 10, 2007, 09:28 PM I have problems using the headroom, it turns the apollo head white when I exit from it..
Bjornlo Jun 11, 2007, 06:30 AM I actually made a tutorial for using Apollo Max for leaderheads (check out my sig)

Perhaps a tutorial on how you made the morphs for M3? That way whenever a new flavor comes out the first person with the time and inclination could do it without having to pester you. For example, I have seen requests that this be done for both V3 and Apollo now. I am certain someone will eventually hope to use the g2 characters or V4, or maybe D3 or what have you.
Plotinus Jun 11, 2007, 07:17 AM I've actually already resized Apollo to match the Paperdoll, but I don't know how to create a pose file that retains rescalings as zulu did with Michael 3.
NavyDawg Jun 11, 2007, 01:06 PM I did the same for V3 and had the same problem. Zulu, help!
