This is not an official poll. I just wanted to get a feel for what others think of our turn chats, as they are a major topic of discussion.

Hehe. Would one of the moderators please change option 4 to read 'them' instead of 'the'? I hate being constantly reminded of a typo....

Done.

Oooh, boy, I am going to regret posting this later :) Here goes...

I don't like your poll at all, Eyrei. I move it to be deleted because it will just lead to greater unrest & unstability to our fine game.

I believe some people are looking for a scapegoat for other issues we have. The turn chat is not it. I believe many are misled by baseless & hypothecial accusations that all sorts of consipracies occur during the chat by the chat attendees. A quick look down this forum reveals many citizen polls & proposals. There are absolutely no cases of people taking one circumstance that occured during a chat & saying "Why weren't the people included in this decision?!?!"

Personally, & I say, personally, because it is my own opinion, I believe half of the people unsatisfied with the turn chat are really saying, "If I can't be there & have the fun & a say in our progress, than no one should!". Sorry to say, that is democracy, baby. It seems some people are wanting a dictatorship.

Well, if it was an official poll, I agree, it should never have even been posted. What I am trying to figure out is if it really is just a small group who dislike the chat turns, or if a good number of citizens feel that way. Unrest is the nature of a democracy....

I am very happy to see that the majority want to keep the turn chat. A plurality also feels that some changes are in order. To get in on the discussion of what to change visit the Where are our citizens (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22395) thread/poll.

I did not vote because I do not care
"Abstain"
I do feel that the turns and turn chats should be decided one and then cast in stone. I don't like the 1 day between turns then 2 or 3.
Weren't we supposed to do a turn every other day and that was that? I do feel the chats are important. I've only attended one and so I don't feel like I can base an opinion on one chat where the prez got knocked out 30 min into it and the game turn kept getting passed around.
