I've got an LCD monitor with DVI in only. I'd like to set it up as my only display, so that I can switch between computer, Xbox 360, DVD and VCR. Is there a switchbox that can do that? Has anyone ever attempted this?

Hopefully this won't be too expensive. Thunderfall's a nice guy, but he don't pay so well.

I've seen switches that will do that with RCA jacks, but I haven't seen DVI ones. You could get a tuner card for your PC and run all the decks into that. Might need various adapter blocks/cables.

Higher-end LCD monitors usually include a variety of inputs for various sources, and can easily switch between them all... I can't think of any easy way to hook up a monitor which only has one DVI-in port to a number of different sources.

Yeah, I've been poking around Newegg and it looks a monitor that can switch itself is going to be cheaper than setting up on my current one...
