I'm not sure if this is the right foru, but does anyone know how image filters work/ I understand word filters there easy, but like google has an image filter, how the heck does it tell what to filter? I'de think the necessary level of image identification to stop as much porno as they do while still letting most everything else through must be enourmous...:crazyeye:

My guess is that their web crawlers simply generate a blacklist of websites

They could have advanced software that automatically detects porn, much like Google's facial recognition (http://images.google.com/images?q=civilization&imgtype=face) service but I don't think that would be effective
