Well, since NES is based on Civilization, I will make a fantasy map NES - and even fictional counrries.

Rules: As normal, plus for all the geographical and hsitorical questions go to me, they will be into FAQ. Oh and please, don't make over four posts a nation (in a day) (unless there are important reasons), because that I've got NES II to manage.

And almost forgot: results of major battles to be resolved by my secret system, make the stroy realistic, and send top secret maessages by PMs to the countries for which you speak

Setting: 1900 AD (it's not really never ending: we will make it until 2000 AD)

FAQ:

Q: So, since this is a completely fictional world, are participants free to fill in details of their nations' past and present state as they see fit (within reason)?
A: Yes. But if you can't think off something realistic, you could always ask me to do it.

Continets and Oceans:

Southwestern Continents are Luthra (north) and Monta Grande (south), between them is Great Bay, also known as Cold Ocean, or Holod Sea.

In the middle there is Little Continent, aka. Imamia. Main Ocean is Mediterranean Ocean.

Northwestern Continent is Nahaliesku.

To the northeast, there are Nike (North) and Yug (South) continents.

To the east, there are Dual Continents.

Between the Dual Continents, there is Boiling Ocean.

Well, I'm hardly a regular here, but I've been following a few of these stories and it seems a pretty enjoyable idea, and this one in particular really intrigues me... if this gets going with a few more people and you wouldn't mind, I'd be happy to join in. I'm hardly one to jump in right off the bat, but this seems a good place to get my feet wet...

So, since this is a completely fictional world, are participants free to fill in details of their nations' past and present state as they see fit (within reason)? I notice that a few people happily do so anyways, even in the real-world settings.

"Well, since no one has yet sent us anything, then I think we better offer our support to Lesonpalmeans against those nasty Solvanians, because that after, we have soem SOlvanian popualtino too, and they will probabvly join this rebellion, unless it will be defeated soon... Maybe Nordarreich will assist us too?"

If you included names on the map, I might join. I draw a lot of my own fantasy worlds, so this is a nice one.

What do you mean on a map?

Ummm... I mean use a program to expand the map to 4x its size so that you can write names on that pic.

Okay, let's get this thing rolling already!

That map is still difficult. Try restart the thread with this map here.

Feel free to modify it, I drew the original by hand and made a crude copy here.

Oh darn. I cancel it...

Aw, it seemed like such a good idea.

Maybe to keep in line with the theme of the Civ games and to make it a bit more accessible, someone could try a random map with regular Civilization civs.
