I recently bought a vista laptop and installed Civ 3 complete on it. It (mostly) works fine, but I have one issue, that I cannot find where the save files are located. I have far too many and want to delete some, but the directory which the game indicates they are in is empty, it's as if it's accessing some sort of virtual representation of the directory, I was wondering if maybe this was something to do with the control of access to program files.

Anyone have a similar problem/solution?

I wonder if this has something to so with the "secret path" I have read about in other topics?

worked it out myself, vista saves in the VirtualStore which can be found at:

C:\Users\userid\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Civilization III Complete\Conquests\Saves
