Don't forget about civs that "should have" had been in, but isn't.

I predict those Poland-lovers to extend the list shortly, giving Poland at least -6 crowns... One absent leader for each of vanilla, warlords and BtS...

lool I like this place, it has a good spirit about it sometimes.

Although, I have to say... I grin from ear to ear if I come across England. They are my life enemy, so more of them the better! Sharpen those blades! ;)

Actually Germany should come top because it has 2 civs and 3.5 leaders :mischief:

QFT.
The Greeks and Romans are pretty high too, considering that's all the Byzies are.

Adding the HRE to Germany brings it up one point, to 2nd Rank.

Adding Byzantium to Rome brings it up one point, to 3rd Rank.

Adding America to Native Americans brings it up seven points, to 1st Rank.

...and so on

Surely adding a whole civ is worth more crowns than adding a leader ? ( HRE ).

Pottery, what about "Barbarians" and "Minor Nations"? You can play as these too (if you tweak the settings)...

Unless you count Sid as an appropriate leader, both of these belong in 9th rank, but remain above "any other not listed above" IMHO.

This doesn't prove priority at all.

Interesting take on "priority". I think you're onto something -- Firaxis gave more attention to some civilizations, and less attention to others.

You know, when you break it down like that, it seems to me that Mongolia got WAY too much love, and Spain and Japan got the real shaft. There are others too, but I'd be nitpicking.
