Ok I am playing a hotseat game with my brother on a hub map. I am kicking ass :) so that ain't the problem the problem is Hyborem was born on my brothers land and the lava flow and black rock spread from hyborems land across his own. His cities are actually cut off from eachother by the lava.

Hyborem has just sent a settler and built a city on my land bridge to my land. And the lava is coming. I don't want to end up like my brother so how can I stop this? My unit building citys are now blocked off by lava and I need to build boats to get them out. Is there a spell I can use to put out the fire/lava? or can I destroy the land between turning my land into a true island?

Any thoughts?

the life I spell, sanctify, turns hell terrain back to normal, and water I spell, spring, turns deserts to plains. on hell terrain deserts are the terrain that makes the fire/lava, so if you sanctify then spring, it gets rid of it nicely

I'd recommend getting your brother a girlfriend. That might cut into his civ time, and help you win. ;)

I've always been a proponent of meta-gaming, and believe that computers use CTDs in games to help them win... so I don't know how useful I'd be...

So that's why my computer always locks up...

That's funny. My HAL9000 tends to try to shut me in the airlock and depressurise when he's losing.
