Wyz... i know we got a tonnes of *STUFF* to do still before the launch... but... Mind if I try to co-ordinate a crew to do minor touches... ???

8 DIPLOMATIC RESPONSES FOR EACH LEADER
TRANSLATIONS TO SPANISH (hopefully our Spanish speaking friends will help out on this)
TRANSLATIONS TO FRENCH (Je parle un petite peu francais...Mais...)
TRANSLATIONS TO GERMAN (WHO SPEAKS GERMAN???)
TRANSLATIONS TO ITALIAN (I don't know anyone from the Italian community either  )
SELECT/ORDER FOR EACH CIV (YIKES!!! anyone speak inuit??? maybe Maori? how about Australian??? :crazyeye: Any suggestions as to which language we could sub into these civs?)
FITTING DIPLOMATIC MUSIC (Mozart just somehow doesn't seem to work for the Mayans?

OF COURSE this isn't necessary for the release... but we could patch these in in the future.

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE ALL CIV'S Getting to the same standards as were set when you did Canada.

I have a CD somewhere that can translate text into over 350 Languages. I'll try to find it if you want.

Edit: And i'm pretty sure it can do accent's as well. (for australia :) )

Seriously can it actually speak the text?

What about expression?

I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT IS CALLED..
I'm getting giddy.

Mind you... if I hear how to annunciate the words... I may be able to duplicate the words in my own voice with Expression.

Happy 300th post! ;)

Anyway, i still haven't found it, (or remember it's name) It just reads the text. But it's voice is as dull as the firefox speech thing. The only thing it can really do is translate text to over 350 languages. (7 being native american) and do accents. But it's as i said before, as dull as the Firefox Speech thing. It might not be worth it.

I think that if it could spit out the correct annunciation on the words. I could spit out the expression with the help of me and some friends.

i can speak Vietnamese, but if substitution is necessary, than its either China or the Khmer (from BtS)... both wouoldn't be that great though, but i would say China is the best, because Vietnam, for a long time, was ruled by China, and even afterwards the Vietnamese used the Chinese script and scholars were talking in a "Vietnamese Latin" language which was a vietnamese-phonetic version of Chinese.

I can speak fluent Armenian, and I know a little bit of Italian, so I can help on those (Armenian everything, Italian only some).

You know How to record your voice with a Microphone?
Using a program such as Wave Pad (freeware) you can record your comments to .Wav files. Should have 10 for both Orders and Selection. (THESE MUST BE SHORT COMMENTS) remember that these are the sounds played when you click on your units (selection) and when you give them an order (order). I created a HOW TO: on this a while back. Search my threads for it.

Yeah, they must be short and something that you can stand to hear over and over again. It'd do Finnish if I wasn't terrible in this voice acting thing.
