I downloaded and installed fall from heaven II it is in my mod directory but when i load the game and go to activate mods it is not there any clues

are you using warlords? the mod is for vanilla civ 4 so justuse your vanilla civ disk

no its vanilla I have latest patch also

Have you tried launching it form icon in mods folder (and from desktop)? Are you sure you have 300+MB full mod or just 2 MB patch?

Is your Civ 4 install in the default path? If not, you'll need to change the install path for FfH (or move the folder from Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid...\Mods ). The installer doesn't read the registry entry, just defaults to Civ 4's default.

The path must be wrong, the game just displays all the directories in the Mods directory. Post a screenshot of directory where it is install and we will see if we can spot the problem.

Does the shortcut (in the FfH folder) work? If so, that's a weird isue, if not it's definitely not in the right place (assuming Civ is in the all users default anyhow).
